It's a gas bubble. Sometimes this happens to copper plated zinc pennies. It's common and adds no numismatic value to the coin. Good story, though....
A nice delamination on the '41. The IHC has environmental damage. I can't speak to the '05 IHC.
The coin in question is a 1977. It's not plated.

The surface of the coin, underneath the verdigris, is most certainly damaged. You could use some Verdi-Care to try to remove it.

Not the greatest photos. I'm guessing reprocessed, but I will wait for other opinions.
Look at the edge. On the originals, the edge was not plated. The steel stock was zinc plated before the blanks were punched.

Looks like crud. Can you post pictures taken straight on and not on an angle?
If wheels are kept in proper balance and the alignment of those wheels are kept to factory specs, tires will wear evenly.
