I think it was struck with a die that was pushed way beyond it's useful life. The die was not doubled, just greatly worn.
The corn stalk color might be toning or a stain. I can't tell which.
Why bother? Just spend them.

IMO, you should have it authenticated, graded, and encapsulated by NGC or PCGS. To find a value, list it on eBay with an astronomical asking price...
Show us both sides and take the pictures with the coin parallel to the lens, not on an angle.
