I think you just missed the point of the last several posts entirely

Can someone explain to me why they would create a reverse proof set? The sales of Proof Sets has been dropping for years. Why create another set...
Kurt: Some years have special finish coins and are nothing like circulation strike coins. (2005-2010)
I like the coin. It looks like it may have been subject to an old cleaning and has re-toned.
Well, it's post 1983, so that means my bicentennial proof sets are out
maybe... maybe not...
what if I like cheesy tattoos?
That was my thought as well. The ONLY thing that should preclude a gold bean is if John Albanese doesn't think the coin should straight grade at all.
are those bicentennial Proof sets?
You might also ask TOUGHCOINS, he knows these pretty well.
while I am no expert on these jeff, I think this coin looks completely legit. mint mark and all.
I think jeff's got a good bead on these.
The S on the 1932 looks wrong. I wouldn't buy this coin on a dare.
I'm stunned by that grade. And I'll come right out and say it, NGC blew it on this coin. They're just plain wrong.
MS-63 is my grade. With the hints, I'll say AU-53 and just agree to disagree.
It's actually not that hard. If you want to collect raw coins, you can get every date and Mint mark from Mint Sets except for the 1971 and 1972...
