A strong XF-45 or low AU-50 struck through dime.
Sorry folks for any confusion but I just noticed that in typed 1943 instead of 1944.
Now that I can look closer while in my Hotel room I believe it’s a struck through error. Maybe a piece of cloth.
It may be an error but it would hold very little to no extra value. It could also be damage from the mint or circulation.
My local coin shop pays three cents for them. It’s a replated steel cent dated 1943.

I’m at MS-65 and it looks RB to me. But then, I just drove 500 miles. :)
I’ve never sold at a coin show. I just buy and add to my hoard. If I was to sell I would definitely ask dealers what they are paying. :)
