    After 1904, they destroyed all the Morgan hubs & dies. They had to make new ones. They don't have some of the fine details as the original.

    Plenty of affordable gold coin choices other than a numismatic disaster. AU $2.5 Gold Indians come to mind. Why not look at the Gold Silver...
