This one shows machine doubling. [ATTACH]
Yes, it's crooked. It's because mint marks for that date were hand punched into the dies. It's normal.

A scratch would create a depression in the die and a corresponding raised spot on the coin.
@Twopence Pete You really should start a separate thread instead of piggy backing. You'll get more eyes on your coin that way.
I'd be inclined to call that a strike through.
You must learn to live with the fact that some mysteries are never to be solved.
Actually, yes. It's my main computer and it keeps crashing. It's out being repaired. I'm working on a tiny laptop now and it's a PITA and a POS.
How about a pic of the reverse?
That's machine doubling. It's cause by the movement of a die during striking. It's not from a true doubled die. It's very common and adds no extra...

Now I'm sorry I didn't just kill you to put you out of your misery. You might want to consider wearing a tin foil hat from now on.
My photos only hurt your eyes? I was really trying to totally blind you. Sorry I missed my mark.
I appreciate your ignoring my pics, and I apologized for the quality in my OP, but why did you even bother to post here?
