Motor bank teller had 1 CWR of halves. Opened one end and found a 1966 ender. Was certain I had a solid roll of silvers until I pushed the rest of...
Nice score @Seattlite86 ! Thanks for sharing!
Loomis box of halves today was a silver skunk, only found 4 NIFCs.
I narrowly avoided a skunk today on an opened Loomis box of halves that someone bought 1 roll out of: (5) NIFCs, (1) 1974-D DDO, & (1) 1967.
NP, @calishield ! Glad you found some silver!
Having some good luck with halves lately! 2x 90% (1962-D Ben & 1964 Kennedy) 5x 40% 4x Clad Proofs (1976-S, 1985-S, 1999-S, 2001-S) Plus a handful...
Nice haul @Seattlite86 ! Did you count up the copper wheaties and steelies? Just curious......
Picked up 2 Loomis boxes last week from the same bank, each had a 40% ender. Finally searched one of the boxes yesterday and was pleasantly...
Finished going through the second Brink's box and found (3) 40%ers and 31 NIFCs. The 31 NIFCs is a record for me for one box of halves.
To repeat what someone once said on this Forum, I would open them faster than a kid unwrapping presents on Christmas morning!
@ace71499 , @vintagemintage , @V. Kurt Bellman , @Cheech9712 . Thanks for your replies. This partial Brinks box, while producing no silver, did...
Bought a $390 partial Brinks box today just to change things up. No silver enders, but spotted these guys, hoping the rest of the box is part of a...
And yes, they were in the older red wrappers.
On 2 different occasions within the past year, a teller called me to say a customer had turned in rolls of cents that had wheats in them. The...
On your Cent folder what is the start date? Sorry, I’m away from my house.
2nd box of Loomis halves: (1) 1967 (9) NIFCs (1) 1974-D DDO Got another box coming......
@richard sheehan, Thanks for posting your experience with an eBay “unsearched” cent roll. Just out of curiosity, how much did you have to pay for it?
From my own personal experience, I vote cents and halves.
Bought two Loomis half boxes yesterday. First one was a skunk, but interestingly had 20 NIFCs (a high for me) and another 1974-D Doubled Die...
@Dave363 is correct, the coin is a large date 1982-D. Using his example pictures, see the difference in the shape of the "2".
