Been a while. Here's one I got today: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I've always seen 48-52 called 'no IND: IMP:,' my guess is that it's because that takes up less space in albums.
Here are my two Panama Pills: [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Not a fan of the inconsistent placement of the name, motto, etc. I'd rather they be adapted to be more like the Otero-Warren design. The outer...
Like many of the Franklin Mint issues of that period, the matte coins of that type were minted in quantities much higher than the number of matte...
Coins and Canada calls them die grooves, likely similar. They happen a lot on coins from the first couple years of steel.
That's wood grain toning, although not in the usual wood grain pattern.
Czechia. Their current circulating series is one of my favorites. Honorable mentions to Brazil and Hungary.
I don't see why a strong enough magnet wouldn't work through the slab.
PL coins are those issued in the soft plastic mint sets. Coins & Canada lists these sets in their own pages that take some digging to get to, but...

Yep, definitely an S (and proof). Is the edge brown like a normal quarter?
1997 is by far the most common date of the current-size 50p and is worth its face value unless uncirculated.
They are identical in both composition and value to US dimes. They have been minted at US mints in the past, but newer ones such as yours are not.
It's worth noting that the highest denomination of coin in common use is 1 yuan. That's a lot of coins.
