It is from Sichuan province.
This is 10 cash. 20 cash would be worth way more. As of why it was sold that high, I have no idea. There are many different varieties out there.
Why not post better photos instead of insulting people's eyesight? I'm sure a camera that is potentially cheaper than the coin's value takes much...
It has been a while since I've seen a perfect unbroken example. The last time I saw one for offer, the seller was asking closer to the 4 figure...
Cast around 1862–1875 under Tongzhi Emperor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chinese_cash_coins_by_inscription Pretty neat!
It's the wording that I find it very unpleasant. Read it again and if I word it exactly the same way of why some countries use the lowest...
A bit hard to tell. Would be nice to have better photos. The wear on these coins are often on St George followed by the wings, Queens' hair....
Is this an insult?
I'm impressed - some of the rarer Manchukuo coins are 1933 1 fen, 1939 5 li and 1943 1 jiao (old type). 1935 5 li should be somewhat easy. I am...
The 1943 5 fen is exceedingly rare. Krause and other catalog value do not reflect the true value of it. I have one that is cleaned and it costed...

It did circulate very briefly according to a few people that I've talked to. It got hoarded quickly within the first year unlike the 100 yen...
Definitely Chinese. Really neat!!!
Tough one. I personally preferred to have left it as it is. Nothing was wrong with it. It's still a rather scarce coin at minimum.
3 cents??? Might as well have 3 dollar coin while you are at it. Helps out with tipping
It is not the safe that is the issue. Sulfur in gunpowder would be the culprit for causing such toning.
Timing has to do with a lot of things. I bought most of my Soviet coins when silver was around 5usd / oz. Most of my Russian coins including many...
The silver coin looks genuine but will still need to know the weight for confirmation. I don't think its worthwhile to be graded as the value...
Bargain genuine Chinese coins from 1900s rarely exist unless you really know what you are getting. A typical Chinese saying is if you don't know...
I would want to be paid to dispose such potential toxic heavy metal 'token', not buying them.
Separate names with a comma.
