Looks like 2 different dies, both in rather early stages but with a slightly different S; there are several coins with mintmarks like this that...
I think this is a 2006, last number appears to be outlining a 6 despite the grease error. Cool find!
Not sure as to exact date but hopefully you've got a teen nickel. I've acid-treated quite a few and most dateless ones are in the teens. ;)
His account says he was last seen on June 11, over 5 weeks ago. Reckon where he went?
This week featured 2 good pickups. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] 1907 1C, PCGS UNC Details, cleaned, $20.09 w/Buyer's Fee. Nice coin to be cleaned. [ATTACH]...
G-4 bid for N-6 is $75 and AG-3 bid is $40; so, for an N-6 you should get $30-40 from collectors and likely $25-35 from a dealer.
It may be. It's probably an N-1, 2, 3, or 4, as those are all the common varieties, but still a better date nonetheless.
Good thing I have been reading his posts - he comments on the majority of my threads. ;)
60 year old coin collectors..... so that's the new way to insult a 16-year-old? LOL, I don't know very many people who are exactly 60 and collect...

This is a $1 California brass token, somehow with a BG number but with nothing other than a 1 and an 1864 on the back. I have a picture of this...
Very few of those pieces that aren't denominated with 'dol', 'dollar' or otherwise to go with 1/2, 1/4, or 1; here's one that's not. BG-1328 is...
I agree with KBBPLL; about $33 at most. For a 9 to 10 karat piece, though, you could look at about $10-13 melt.
It looks to be real, but not considered a California gold coin, just a token. As weird as this sounds, the denominated ones are sometimes...
Deals like that occasionally do happen but almost never on Ebay, especially since their fees are 13.25% on coins if they haven't increased it....
I've been to a few coin shows over the past year and a half; 2 of them several times. Out of the shows, the smallest one was the show in...
The real tragedy is that it actually sold. Yes, I am not kidding, someone is gonna get screwed outta $700.
