So what do you think Jim about that " L " flaking on the die ?
I was setting up ken dies today and that came to my mind on the OP coin ....
I just left Ken a couple of hours ago and will see him again tomorrow at the coin show, along with the rest of the Michigan Coneca gang ...
As you can see, there's a crack in lower leg of the " E " .... [ATTACH]
To me it looks like the " Letter " is falling apart on the die ..
I'll get some images up and see whats going on, just getting in from a long day, Coin show and all . On a good note, 74-D & 73-D Roosevelt(s)...

The one on coppercoins has lost it's roundness on LIBE, to where mine is still nice and round in thoses lettering . So are the rest of the images...

It's a die chip and some of the Shield Cent on the reverse do the same-thing ( Die Chip ) ...
Looks like a snowstorm sweep through there and left some snow on the roof . Lots of things it could be like a die dent, die break etc ....
