!943 3/3/3 near date, 50 Cent piece . I've found images of the far date, but none for the near date . So I posted it on coins and Canada website...
Put some light on that mint-mark, so we can see it better . The ends are to dark to look for split serif
I still say 86, its much different then 5 ..
My guess is DDR-086, which would make it a new DDR ..

I'm not sure what they are, I don't see any polishing on the coin, ( obverse or reverse ) its a very early die state too .
