Very nice All! Heres a couple of mine Gordian III (x2) Gallienus Postumus
I wouldnt be surprised if I'm wrong, but yeah it seems to be Annona. I'd ask on forvm if no one here can say. Sometimes it can be only 1 letter...
found this too , same RIC, but a sestertius http://www.acsearch.info/record.html?id=50920
i'll give this one a bump :) thanks Clinker :)
Thanks Clinker :)
Thats pretty cool!
Well it paid off to wait; this one is sweet! I wonder if its Annona, but I only found a couple seated left, not right. :o edit:...
Sounds good to me :)
I think my area is pretty safe :D lol
Glad to see you back again :)
WB :D again :D you can keep my name out of the hat, just wanted to say wb :)
Wonderful coin in great condition! I agree, the toning is very nice too.
Looks like a tetradrachm of Ptolemy, no clue one which Ptolemy though; and no clue if its authentic, too hard to see.
I just never really got into them. Maximillion II 1575
I really like the denarii of Trajan with the head of Sol on the rev.
Nice portrait on the Denarius. I like the Hugarian denars too ( well enough to get just one :) ) Cool additions!
You should pick up Wayne G Sayles book "ancient coin collecting volume I," Its really great for the new collector. You could get one bag and post...
His coins are a bit pricier and theres less around it seems, but I just havent gotten around to getting one.
Thanks :)
Doug, it never ceases to amaze me all the cool coins you have!
