I don't have a great deal of experience, but the little I have and what I have seen here, both TPG's have become super stringent of anything...

Not the greatest strike, but I still think it could get a 64 were it not for the spots. With them, 63 sounds about right.
This is a much prettier coin in hand. It is more chocolate and orange than the pictures show. One mark on the obverse and a few little ticks...
That should go 64/65, but it is not red so I think 64 more likely - IF............ However, I sincerely doubt either PCGS or NGC would grade it....

Took that coin to 2 dealers today. The more knowledgeable said that it has been over-dipped and figured there was a 90% change PCGS would not...
I am no expert on Indians, but I see nothing to keep that from a 65, IMO.
That is one coin where the price is not determined by its rarity, but rather its demand.
Anyone still think the 09-S VDB is really rare?...
