I guess most of the members here are too young to remember Opie Taylor (Andy Griffith show), played by Ron Howard. Anyway, OP is "Original Post...

Plus 2 cents shipping and handling.
The Ben is worth melt also... nice mirror image photos, lol... oh... and you may want to crop your fingernail out of the photo.
Yep... the '64-D's are worth $15.64 also.... so don't spend them!
Hey... they're still fun to spend, especially if you find a sales clerk who has never seen one.
Certain coins will do that!
Don't feel bad... I always carry a few in my pocket to spend once in awhile, and yes, they do get mixed up with the quarters.
Even fake dies crack once in awhile. Don't under estimate the Chinese counterfeiting operations... the quality of their fakes has improved...

There's a lot wrong with this coin, and as stated above, the "D" and date are wrong, the initials are weak or missing, the rays are wrong. Please...
The obverse looks like my basement walls. Remind me to get the sub-pump fixed...
I wonder what the two ANA members were thinking when looking at it in hand.
Well, let's give it a shot... it would be easier to give a more educated guess with good pics of both obverse and reverse, so we'll give you...

The more I look at it and compare it to some of my known counterfeits, the more I'm leaning towards fake. I've seen that "weak" eagle before.
The lack of detail on the reverse is troublesome... and many of the later crop of Chinese counterfeits have a slightly (15 to 20 degrees) rotated...
Excellent comparison pictures, C1966, and definitely shows the issues with this coin. Let's see how it pans out.
That's a little low, wouldn't you say?
Plus the reverse has plenty of bumps and pits... key indicators of a cast fake.
