I bet if you send it to pcgs, it would come back cleaned and if not, shame on them too .. Should say something about an altered surface, I think ..

Save your money, there isn't an error expert out there that can make that date out ...

I'd say low ms, but only because some of the tie-down on the snare skin are missing ..
I like to see the rim . If its " Bonded " and not " Open " then that would answer the question at hand ..
I think it natural lighting from a window and looks like the light is coming from 6 o'clock to me . Yes cartwheel luster ..
If you take a " cent " in this condition at home and check where the spoke effect starts, it's between 2 o'clock and the other side of the spoke...
Wouldn't the " Spoke Effect " be where I put the white lines with the lighting coming from the south ?...
To me, it looks more like someone plated it ..
I just received the coin from ANACS and found out it turn out to be Coneca DDO-007 & DDR-002 . Here's the listing for Coneca Designation:...
And, would be very dark in color ( blue ) and weight a lot less then a regular cent too ...
