The area just looks so smooth to me, thats why I want some closeups ..
Maybe this coin was mounted once and thats what's going on with the reverse ...
I like to see a closer image of the date, because I can see the number 9 for sure and it looks like the 1 too ... Also an image of the rim under...
I own some statehood quarters, that the reverse has the same effect and their feeder-finger error ....
I thin it's a lamination, only because the Denticles weren't effected, just weakly struck ...
I live in Michigan and that's all I've seen, is the Denver minted ones ....

This is in the 2007 red-book as a fake, the bear is a dead give away for a fake ...
