You are correct, the A to denticle is the good one ...
It sure looks egg shape ( bottom last 8 ) to me, which is a good sign for a DDO ..

I think the ear took a hit, if you could please, take a image of the doubling you see on the date . Pretty please ....

OP, your coins not cleaned, or dipped and the marks on the face are called luster breaks . I would need better images to grade the coin .
