I had it wrong, copper weighs 3.11 and the zinc weighs 2.5

Correct, but the cherry-pickers should weigh 2.5 ( Copper ) and not 3.11( bronze ) ..
If you look at Coppercoins site, 1 & 3 are real close to each other and the easiest way to tell them apart, is weighing them . Ones on a zinc...
