FWIW, I have a couple of times (3) tried to tell someone that their listing will get pulled if they do not ............ So far I am batting 100%...
The mailman came today - and I am back home. I suspect it is truly a 64/65 coin but was downgraded because of the eye appeal....
Apparently, you have one of those AU-63 coins
Too many nicks and not enough luster left for a high grade AU. AU-50 and a 45 would not surprise me.
No. The MM's were added by hand until 1990's (someone correct me if my date is off). They only become interesting when the mark gets into some...

A 65 RB is kind of marginal for grading. You best be pretty sure of it. I still have not seen a close enough picture for me to grade it by.
Photographs of holograms are hard to read. How does that one look compared to the real thing?

No books that I am aware of. Probably the best info you can find would be in the thread http://www.cointalk.com/t65353/. Doug keeps...
31-S's are noted for mushy strikes. I must say your pictures are not clear enough to know for sure, but I can make out no evidence of wear. As...
Luster and strike are there, but just too many baddies to be called a 67 and they apparently did not down grade it due to the die lines. PCGS...
This might have been a 66 once upon a time, but there are just too many spots on it now. Scores will follow eventually. [ATTACH]
There are a couple I have sent in, but nearly all I have bought as slabbed.
Separate names with a comma.
