The flare " G " on the 88 reverse, is the one that is the 89 reverse ( variety ) . The straight " G " is normal for 88 .
See if you can get an image like the one I posted . It looks like yours it's going CW ( clock wise ) . Here's the link to coneca too ....

Someone beat the copper layer off of that coin . See how beat down the rim is . What you see now, is just the zinc core ..
I always try to do side by sides on class 6 doubling, or ones that have lots of varieties for that year .
You can really see those flow lines coming off of the rim, to that 5 . That's what happens on a worn die ....

As you wish . Scope set at 1280x720 with zoom at 10x and down on the coin . no cropping or reducing image size either . Won't take them any bigger...
