The Carson City dollars are in holders from the GSA, and as such they are quite collectible. Keep them in the holders with all the paperwork intact.

I would be very wary of early dollars raw, unless from a well established seller with impeccable references. fakes abound.

I agree that it's probably dipped and retoned, probably in an old Wayte Raymond album. I wouldn't pay a premium for it, but I like the way it looks.
