Some of you probably know this, but I just found out that the Romans called money 'Pecunia', derived from 'Pecus' meaning cattle![ATTACH]
I just looked at Otho tets, and sure enough they simply resemble Vespasian's bust, or is it the other way around?o_O
I wonder how reliable is it to consider the weight? I have seen denarius as low as 2g to nearly 4g from the adoptive era.
I often see people trying to put together a collection from every Roman emperor, but how feasible is it to collect every Alexandrian (or) other...
