Ha! Missed that. That should be on www.engrish.com
I would say yes, because if you look at the base of the "f" on the first photo(upside down one) there is definite seperation.
Illini420. Thanks. If nothing else, this shows us that if we ever come across a roll that has a v.d.b. on the end, we can definitely rule it out...
Illini420 According to Variety Vista it's a shallow vs. deep cut "N" in United. They list only two reverses for the v.d.b.'s....
I knew it wasn't your auction! Sorry if I seemed to imply that.
Hmmm...in all of these links I saw nothing but ambiguity. However, I did see this in link #3-"a misdemeanor antitrust violation." Antitrust laws...
You should sell that for its rarity!
LDS? Going once...going twice...
No way I'd spend ten bucks on that coin without better photos. That mint mark looks very suspicious. At least it does when taken with the crappy...
What is it about looking at 'em even if they do belong to someone else? Nice!!
Oh....thought you were looking for the best times to scalp ebay for "buy it now" prices on a Jefferson Starship album.:D
Also, whether shilling is right or wrong, don't make statements about fraud and then tell others to Google it when challenged. Come on. We know...
Goes back to my point that Ebay perpetuates this somewhat. Why charge a fee for a reserve price?
Not that I've ever "shill bid"(had never even heard of it until now), but maybe the sellers are just circumventing Ebays ridiculous reserve fees...
Does anyone here know if one of these reverses is significantly more rare than the other?
That's what I was thinking of! Thanks.
I'll just stick with pennies now:confused: Why was I thinking that wasn't until 1980? Did something about the Roosevelt change in '80?
Also, on Roosevelt dimes the mint mark will be on the reverse at the base of the torch.
When I zoom in on it, it becomes blurry, but it looks to me like the "N" in United is the deep-cut RDV-002 variety that was on the '09 vdb. Maybe...
Great thread Jason.
