Dip can be applied to only a certain area if you are careful and steady. :p In this thread, I did only one side, but the same principle applies....

Purchased a Kennedy Dansco. Every proof from 1970-1997 is toned. I'll start with this one, since it's the only proof I imaged from the album. [IMG]
A few weeks ago I ordered a Kennedy Dansco with all coins from 1971-1997 (sans the silver), including proofs. That baby showed up on friday....
Also very possible. Basically something was covering the areas that are not toned. I suppose if it was tape, it might have left glue residue behind.
$4 a cent is to much. You should be able to get each one for $2.
I am certain that coin was in some type of cardboard holder held by tape.
