65.
I'll say 58 on this one.
Looks like a capped die. Nice find.
Reason enough for me! I raise my drink and toast you on that one. It is a darned nice coin.
Either way it's a nice find. Did you pull that one searching? I'm hoping '99 for you.
Alright Duke, I gotta ask for an explanation on this one. You're monitor must see more detail than mine! :)
For some reason makes me want to make a Lincoln Cent Mobius strip.
I'm thinking 45 on this one as well.
That's great advice about putting them in 2x2 holders. Also, you may already know this, but never clean your coins! I know it's tempting...
Wait a minute; Doug gave this a 65?! Can I revise my grade to 70? :D
Great coins and welcome to Coin Talk! If you like Lincolns, you are going to find yourself right at home here. There are many Lincoln collectors...
A '99 capped die WAM? Sweet if it is, but looks more like a '92 to me.
Now that is one sweet reverse. Nice coin.
Thanks again Mike! A wire brush would also make sense for the lines that show up on the devices.
There is a new, 8th 1988-D working die that was just discovered, but I haven't heard of anything new for the P.
Mike, Regarding "die scratches" on coins, are these caused by some type of polishing method or by something different entirely? Thanks, Jody
Thanks for that info Mike!
Fred is too busy fetching ridiculous prices for real errors. :)
+1 I agree completely with the grade on this coin.
