That looks like a die break/chip and it's on the reverse.
I think that it is actually a large date 1982 copper plated zinc cent.
jazzcoins; the cherrypicker's guide says the doubling can be found in mint sets on the date, LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. They call it a variety.
