I agree. I purchase G4 large cents because they are cool no matter what and can fill a hole in a collection while searching for something better.
I have paid as much as $9 over spot when unslabbed can run $5-$6 over spot. I figure a few extra bucks for the slab cannot hurt.
Personally, I would suggest acetone and a cotton swab if necessary.

Nice light colored grain (nice color generally) on that '94. The bust part still has nice detail. Really good coin!
