There's something there but I can't tell what it is, there's marks all around that area.
A 1947S, it's the same coin, one shot upright the other inverted.

Yeah, I don't see it either. Could be a die gouge you're looking at.

Is that 1884 naturally toned or the other? What is the best give-away that a coin is artificially toned?
Those two are lamination errors. A lamination error occurs when the surface of the coin looks like it is peeling off.
