if you want to start collecting wheat cents, go to your bank and ask for some rolls of cents. you can usually find a wheat cent about every 5 or...
i know someone that uses old morgans for tips. if you want to leave one as a tip, it wouldn't be as bad as paying with them! :cool:
i'd save it because its a 1955. i keep all nickels 1959 and older.
i've noticed alot of quarters from the 70's and 80's with bad mintmarks. i guess they just kept using the dies, even though they were worn out.
the dollar coin cost the government 6 cents to make. so thats a 94 cent profit for every dollar coin they make. and it last 30 years or so before...
i would seriously not do that. did you hear the story of the guy using $2 bills as a purchase, and got called the cops on at a jc penneys a few...
in the redbook it says its worth $500 in MS-65. is that true? still, nice find! :eek:
yup, got one in change a few years ago for 1 cent. it was a 1964. a coin roll hunter i know got one in a dime roll a few weeks ago. :headbang:
