I'm not sure I agree, I would rather reserve the decimals for level of PQ or eye appeal.
Just a quick wash and then by the edges until I determine the coin is worthless and then it's full thumbs and on to the nextone.
If there is nothing there it is a Phillidelphia mint coin.

Another member across the street mentions that PCGS has an AU55 DMPL Morgan which gives credit to there being DMPL circ coins.
