Another cool hoard at the British Museum- “Shipwreck hoard” [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Are 2017 halves really NIFC? I got 3 rolls of them from a casino.
I see 4 fingers just like everyone else. Can you zoom out and show the rest of the coin?
Might be worth 5 or 6 bucks to the right collector....
It's uncommon and might be worth a premium.
I remember you on Johnny Carson.
paddyman- No need to get angry at David. It was clearly a joke.
Michael, good idea! I'll do that if I have my crisp $20 scribbled over.
I can't post the back of the cert. yet, but, the back has a lion on top of a crown- with ordinary use regulations on the bottom.
Hmph! My phone storage is full so I can't post my 1950 $20 for comparison.
Very interesting, Mr. Dangerfield. I didn't know such games were widespread- even before!
$21 would be accurate value.
I like the red colour of the leaf and inscription on the back. This is possibly one of the most interesting Canadian quarters I've seen.
Cool! That's the same year as the last Canadian cent made, in fact.
I'll start collecting more serious currency, and then I won't feel so sore about receiving those boring 2004 and 2006 20s from the bank.
Quite the collection, mpcusa! Thanks for sharing! I didn't even know some of these notes existed- the varieties of military payment certificates....
Michael, I personally use 10s and 20s. Isn't it too much of a hassle when the cashier inspects it by holding it up to the light or scribbles all...
mpcusa- It would be cool if I had notes like yours, but, I mostly collect from circulation. Best result was a crisp 1934A $20.
Of course! I have much less interesting notes. [ATTACH]
Ah, the coveted "Battleship" and "Indian Chief". I've tried to acquire those notes, but was never able to meet their steep price tags. What a cool...
