Fake fake fake. If it is made of Pewter it is fake. All the original strikes were in Tin, or Silver washed pewter.
If that is a conservative VF-EF, then you have struck lucky. If you really mean F-VF, then still pretty lucky.

It seems to be real. I don't think there is much danger of the patina of that coin being interrupted by your fingers, as there is no lustre left....
Nice normal, circulated 1883, with some real character to it.
I would wash all of those pieces abit, and use a wire brush with blunt points (that won't scratch) on those cents.
