I find it near impossible for an acid to dissolve copper, but not zinc, which is only but more reactive.

Yes, 1982 was the year. It technically is worth 2 cents, because the copper is valuable. And that is the exact reason they switched to zinc cents.

I agree. The proof coins I like more, but Im very open minded, you see I like coins that are unique. Your never going to have the same toner.
