I was thinking low MS range as well but I have a novice eye. Still a very nice looking coin. :thumb: May I ask what you paid?
Welcome. The year of the coin would help, as would pictures.
What kind of watch did you trade him for the coin?
And what looks like an air rifle to protect it! :D
My little bit of OCD would make my heart exploded if my coins were scattered around like this!!!!!!
I will probably end up getting both to add to my modern commem collection but I'll probably skip the dog tag thing.
I agree with the others that it's not the greatest design, but I have other modern military commems and will probably end up adding both PF and...
It doesn't. Unfortunately you have to weed certain posts out when on internet forums.
That's what I was figuring but how would that coin end up back in a role of 2003 Missouri quarters once it was taken out and AT by someone?
After seeing pics does the toning look artificial to anyone?
Thanks, I thought it was real nice looking and in nice condition. I saw it as she was handing it to me, and thought it was a crusty old quarter...
Very nice :thumb:

I've been trying to take pics, but I can't get the toning to show up in the pictures. I'll keep trying
That was my first thought but wouldn't just the one side be toned and not both?
In change at a store today, I received 3 2003 Missouri clad quarters, all uncirculated. However 1 of the coins had beautiful, dark rainbow toning....
Thanks all
That's funny. Probably some little old lady's dead husband's collection that will be flipped for a huge profit. :)
I am a novice grader with not much experience studying this coin but I was thinking at least 60. What keeps you from saying it's ms?
Opinions on condition and grade? I found a couple of examples on the PCGS website but wanted more opinions. Thanks!
