Nice one. I saw an 1864 with an unlisted retained cud a couple days ago for $10, unfortunately did not buy it.
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] 1925-S/S RPM Buffalo. Value is $200-$300, as obscure as they are. Bought for $9.

[ATTACH] [ATTACH] Believe it or not, some VAMs are interesting. $40 BTW
Nice! I have one in G-6. What are these worth?
Out of curiosity, how many planchets does it have?
+3 Also, the odds you are convincing yourself you are seeing an 88/7 are much, much higher than the coin actually being an 88/7.
XF40. 1921-S Morgans are a tough coin to grade. They usually come unattractive, the relief is different from 1878-04 coins, and some of the detail...
That 1958 Franklin overgraded 67+ FBL had the right color and broke 100k... :p
Nice buy! Maybe try acetone on the bad ones? It might work if the coin’s surface hasn’t been eaten into.

Awesome report and awesome coins! I didn't cherrypick much besides a 1920-S two-feather Buffalo Nickel, but I bought several ancients/medievals...

I’ve looked through a lot of junk silver quarters and have yet to score a 64-D Type C. Great find!
$404
I'm sure surprised. Can't wait for the show report.
Yup, Steve Ellsworth. I was at the same show as the OP! Didn’t buy any large cents from him though. He’s a great dealer.
First one I'm guessing 63PL. Since 65 is an incorrect guess for the second, I'm going to guess it was strictly graded at a 64.
ED doesn’t start until the coin’s surface is being eaten into. Toning is simply a silver sulfide layer on the coin.
