With a little experience, you'll be able to spot the small dates (including the 60's) quickly. To me, they stand out immediately when I see them.
What does coppercoins say? If the coin is worth at least $100, it'd be worth slabbing.

Humidity is BAD for coins and will NOT tone them. If you want to retone, put it in a window sill for a few months and flip it often.
I scan REAL quick with a cheap 4x/8x magnifier, a loupe is too strong and small and hurts my eyes. If something looks interesting, I set it aside...
