I bet they went red on this coin....66RD
Is that a hit in the right obverse field or a scratch?
Back to my "off by one" pattern....arrrggg.
WOW! This totally sickens me, I'm so sorry to hear about your problem....it's just disgusting. I would do exactly as you and start a major uproar....
66rb
Both nice IHC's!
I see he's baking them to remove the patina AND exposing them to a chemical on the last lot of PMD coins.
Actually, he is flat out lying, these were made using some sort of liquid, chemical agent.....100% guaranteed. Oxygen will only darken copper, it...

Nice NP! Congrats!
WOW! $45 for a complete collection of PMD coins? People never cease to amaze!
Red 30S.....nice!
Is that the correct reverse picture? Hard to believe the reverse would be that brassy compared to the obverse!

Bah, PCGS 66 but NGC usually would bump a coin like this one. I'll say it again, the difference between 66-67-68 is mostly a guessing game from...
Love the second coin too! Who are you going to send these to? I'm guessing PCGS because NGS has been insane lately.
The color progressions are correct. Unfortunately, baha is correct, black is the last stage of toning it will only go down hill.
Agreed. The biggest mistake the TPG's made is using the terms AT and NT. They they to change to "Market Unacceptable Toning" because that they can...
Nice looking coin for sure. More likely NGC will cop-out and say AT.
