NEVER clean coins....however, I do recommend a quick rinse with a high quality acetone prior to storage. This will remove any fresh (unseen)...
You knew what I was thinking! :)
Excellent find! Lucky you, I've never found one in many years of searching.
Agree 100%! Do NOT buy any raw coins period if you're not good at understanding what you're buying.
What do you think? :) Clean fields, ultra blazing luster. [IMG] [IMG]
Hummm.....I don't remember, guess I need to get the books out.
Wood is good! NICE!
If this goes MS, it's a later obverse die state. The master obverse hub was sharpened in 1915 and this looks a bit mushy.
This woody is a TOUGH call, I can see 53-62....I might be better off to abstain. Hitting it will be a nice payoff, but missing it could be costly.
HAHAHAHA.....baha going 60 to minimize slider point damage! :D
I don't think the revese field hits would cost more than -4 pts.
Back to my normal one right, one wrong....tough hanging in there, some good scores lately.
Man, no luck this round, missed both by -1 pt.
These come down to just how flashy the luster is in hand.....and we can't see that in pics.
Whew...almost missed it!
Indeed, price lists mean NOTHING on a beauty like that! Great job capturing the color!
64....nice looking coin!

Super luster but a couple ticks should keep it down.....dice roll with NGC.
Dang near pefect, comes down to luster.
