LOLOLOL...well, the 1909 went on pretty long!
5 cents is the normal, retail price for avg circ wheat cents.....the 55-S is an average year. These only go into the >$1 area when they are MS red.
One of my favs! Got this from AZjack:
OK, I give....1911 it is!
We're done with 1910? I thought it was supposed to last a few days? LOL
WOW! That is pathetic.....big fat negative time.
Here's a roll find, it is very black...more than the pictures show.
An old coin and old picture!
I like the honesty of this coin.
I'm sure this is familiar.
Good luck! Why no guts? Try a $0.99 start and watch the bidding wars erupt!
A struck though....nice coin.
Hummmm.....trying to decide what I'm seeing on the cheek, a gash, discoloration or one of those shiney bits of metal.
It's too late. I'd sell them both "as is" in the their slabs and use the money to buy a nice, problem-free coin.

All coinage costs the banks money...like Doug said, dealing with change is done at a loss for banks.
What about the bite marks? :D Many people will touch the medals...who wouldn't want to hold a real olympic medal? I'm sure they get passed around...
I agree with Matt. The 1877 is heavily corroded, I'd take cleaned or scratched over corrroded. It's going to keep eating the coin until it's...
Looks like a nice crack! One of the few kinds that are worth hanging on to.
7.5 cents each....I would if there's truly 90% S mint.
