Harsh punishment from the woody haters at PCGS! I don't see hardly a single hit on this coin - guess I'll never fully agree with them on woodies.
I knew it!
Post mint/environmental damage.
OUTSTANDING! That coin was an extremely RARE find!

Chicken! :D I'm betting it's not a big deal - not in a prime focal area and the reverse is almost perfect. A 4 pt deduction would not be fair...
Here's another tough one. I tell noobs to GTG this coin for fun. The luster is off the charts in hand.
I found this 1984D in a roll....these are some of the worst ever issued. Hey Joe - Did you post your 84D yet?
Here's the best 1985 Denver example I've found....love this coin.
This is one of the better ones I find roll searching. The spots aren't as bad as the photo shows...but this is a typical example.
Now that's a KILLER coin! The modern zincolns are so unappreciated, especially the early 80's. Finding one with almost no gas bubbles. no spots,...
Tough coin...nice example!
All of these types of wall-hanger display sets contain polished coins. Nonetheless, that's some pretty rainbow toning!
It's interesting to see a brown, circulated "uncirculated" token! I don't think I've ever seen one worn that much.
Congrats Charmy! I remember her mentioning she was taking a class and learning how to do this....well earned!
They are common but yours are nice examples. I like the toning on the second coin. In BU they usually sell for a buck or so each.
It's a Shriners counterstamp, they did this often. I have some really cool examples of Mason counterstamps.
WOW! Very nice coin! MS-63BN
