I'm in the bag rub, MS63 camp. Pretty album toning... Edit to add - Does your '83-O VAM-21A have the die scratch on the eagles' left wing?
Maybe, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Let's at least give him a chance before we tar and feather him...
Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed the mods haven't taken this post down yet. Not very friendly treatment towards a new member. :yack:
I actually kind of like the look. MS65 based on a dart...
65PL!
64 for all +/- 1 point. :)
I want to call it 65 but being an older holder I'll say 64.
I'm interested to see how this one pans out. Best of luck to the OP.

I'm sure my first find was a wheat cent as I started out roll searching in the early 70's. I do remember my first notable find, a 1926-S in EF...

I would say keep it raw or send it to ANACS if you wanted it in a large plastic case. Not worth the cost of PCGS or NGC in my opinion.
I agree with 65. Lighting can be brutal when photographing coins.
There are several ebay sellers that list coins like this using scanned images and MS+++++ hooks on the 2x2. This does nothing to change my opinion...
Well struck AU55.
