He is dreaming...dealer's greysheet bid is $1400 and ask is $1525. I would love to buy a PR64 Barber half at a reasonable price, but not for $700...
Exactly, that's why I'm warning the young collectors not to get suckered into buying PR/MS 69-70 slab hype. Nothing wrong with buying PR/MS sets...
And some dealers love to sell high grade moderns b/c they can screw the customers blind.
Kurt, I have nothing against buying modern coins, but those PR/MS70 coins? that is another story. If I needed $$$ I can walk into any major coin...
Congrats, nice original coin!
Where is the liquidity? Are there bids put up by the dealers on these coins? Where can I sell these MS/PR70 coins if I needed money to buy a new...
I love 2.5 Ind too. The $5 Ind. on my list represents an Ind. type coin. Anyhow, either coin is fine with me.
The sad thing about Saints is that there not much spread in price between MS60-64. ..IMO it is still the most beautiful coin ever minted.
Exactly my point about these modern coins...only sellers and no buyers. Bury the customers with these coins and hope never to see them again.
So he is a seller of these high grade modern coins, but is he a buyer?
As we speak...there are a few hundred "coin of the century" for sale on Ebay. Hot out of the oven!
o_O:jawdrop: You gotta be kidding!
This is my first CAC coin. I don't really care about the CAC sticker. TBH, I have never heard of CAC till about a month ago..:shame: [ATTACH]...
Not really, b/c MS63 bid is $835 and 64 is bid $985 thus the reason I pick 64.
Can never disagree with a classic type collector, however I feel that most better date Morgan and Peace $ should well in the future.
Nice coin!
I ordered 10 sets and every coin will grade PR99
I don't think so, b/c he have had committed suicide.;)
I have one double row and 7 single row boxes left from the good ole days.
This is a RARE Morgan...how many have you seen in 64?:p I know, I know, members here don't like white coins. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
