Hope you don’t hold anyone up. Lol
I don’t think this is a proof coin. Proof nickels can not receive the FS designation as that is only reserved for business strikes. I believe this...
The 3rd step above the NTI is what I see as the problem. On the far left it curves dies and becomes part of the 4th step.
I am surprised but pleased that you received such a good grade.
I’d give it an AU-58. On the reverse there is west on the left side of the wreath but not on the right side. It’s a very noticeable difference.
I personally would not be interested in this coin. It’s been cleaned and it’s a details coin.
Nice looking but I don’t think you have full steps.
This one is for sale and it’s one of the more expensive ones on the Internet. I wouldn’t send it in for grading. There are a couple of places that...
I’ll admit that it is a good looking coin but I just don’t understand all of the AU grades. On the obverse a few of the stars are not as sharp as...
I’m looking forward to the grade.
I call them as I see them. Lol
MS-65
I’d have to say it’s a XF-40, maybe 45. Too much wear for an AU grade. It is very nice and no chop marks.
Nest coin! Use the TPG that is best suited for these types of coins as well as errors. The split planchet should not affect the grade.
Definitely not a cud as cuds must touch the rim. Not sure what it’s from. It may be from a jewelry piece such as a pin or a broach.
Glad you had a good time and found a few coins to purchase.
I’m not a variety collector so I don’t know. I can tell you that yours is the 1/100 variety. That's the better one.
The latest in the poll in 9 for not grading and ZERO for grading. That should be enough to convince anyone.
That’s ridiculous! I can buy many nice coins or silver bullion at that price.
A minimum value for insurance purposes would be $400 if cleaned. Less if harshly cleaned.
