the Epson i have notw is not an all in one, it strictly does scanning, and yes, the repair shop i am dealing with is 'repairing' under warranty....
I have used HP prior to this Epson. I had an HP PSC 1610 All-in-one scanner, copier, faxed, dishwasher, snow shveler ... errr... I had that one...
thats the cost.. hes talking 'surcharge' so it would make the silver dollars COSt about $70
