Thank you again for handling all the logistics.
Thanks. It was indeed expensive- in fact my second most expensive coin in 47 years of collecting. (*This is my first most expensive of all time.)
Love that Antony denarius!
I sure wish my recipient would post. Hasn’t been seen yet. Hopefully he’s having a good time celebrating.
It happens. Which is one reason it is best to keep expectations low, I suppose, and also validation for the secret principle, so there is no...
I couldn’t do that, especially after our Thanksgiving this year. But it is certainly beautiful, and lends a patina of old fashioned beauty to...

Hope you’re having a nice holiday!

Whoop! Whoop! CircCam alert! Coingratulations, @Kasia - that is my favorite of anyone's Secret Santa gifts I've seen posted so far.
Boy, you're not kidding! :yack: Yeesh, look at how many fake 1909-S VDB cents this seller has actually sold! :banghead: I pity the poor fools...
Ooh! An 1853 A&R half! Sweet!
Honorable mention: This 1702 "Wildman" replaces another one of the same date which I purchased raw at the 2023 FUN show in January. The raw coin...
