who says the ebay seller doctored it.. look at the note from the heritage auction. Even they say its a CU note, i didnt see anything that says why...
based on the pics at Bowers, i still dont see whay it was graded 35... still a lovely note!

Engraved or Lithographed refers to methods of printing. Personaly, i think lithographed notes lack any artistic quality. But thats just 1 opinion...
as long as the coin is not sitting directly on the cardboard, and instead some other, safer, material.. you should be fine. One never knows where...
