Not always true. Some of my best coins were awesome deals that I got because other people were suspicious and did not want to risk paying...

Your replica coin is not silver. It is simply made of non-ferrous metals, which is why it's not magnetic.

Quality of the details is about right, possibly a genuine coin that has been silver plated. No way to say for sure without examining it in hand.
Keep it as part of a reference library, best way to learn counterfeit detection is to have lots of them on hand.

It's pointless to comment on your coin without clear pics. But, if the mint mark reads CH then this is most certainly not a genuine coin.
