not exactly. Its more like the technology is meant to prevent the good guys (thats folks ike you and me) from making not so innocent mistakes....
when you scan the note, try to crop it so it only scans the note as opposed to the entire page :) then we could see the note larger :)

if the $10 is a 2004 series - then good luck :) The US started putting 'things' in the paper that makes then hard to scan. Some scanners will scan...

i would also keep it. $20 is a fair amount of money for alot of folks, but if you need to spend it down the road it is legal tender :)

600 is way to much for me to keep for older notes in that denom. Unless they were stars, and then i 'might' only keep 1, i would let them go....
