the images are too small for me to get a good look ... but it looks like the font 'might' be a different size. But with the images a bit too...
typos are common :) maybe check the last issue to see if there is a typo there as well???
a very nice note for a note pulled from circulation!!! My only barr star i also found from circulation... but they are note very common!!!!
its not the ATM machines that checknotes... its the federal reserves. As they get notes in from banks, they do their thing... once they get sent...

to take a damaged note with a serial 56728192 and replace it with the same serial would take way to much time... so they take the damage note and...
I have 1930's FRN stars that are the closed type ... so i dont think you can say only the non filled star type are replacements :)
